Which data transfer rate units can I convert?

The converter returns the equivalent value in all eight units using 1 Kbps = 1,000 bps, 1 Mbps = 1,000 Kbps, 1 Gbps = 1,000 Mbps, 1 Tbps = 1,000 Gbps, and 1 byte = 8 bits.
What is the difference between Mbps and MB/s?
Mbps means megabits per second and MB/s means megabytes per second. One byte contains 8 bits, so 1 MB/s equals 8 Mbps. Internet plans are usually advertised in Mbps, while downloads are often shown in MB/s or GB.
Can I convert zero or decimal rates?
Yes. Zero is a valid data transfer rate, and decimal values are accepted. Negative rates are rejected. Results show up to six decimal places when needed.
What happens with very large rates?
