What does the storage growth calculator show?
Enter the current storage in GB, the new data added each month, an optional monthly growth rate, and the projection period in months. The calculator returns the projected storage total and how much growth was added. For example, 500 GB now plus 10 GB per month at 2% monthly growth for 12 months projects to about 768 GB.
Which formula does the storage growth calculator use?
Each projected month applies total = total x (1 + monthly rate / 100) + monthly new data, starting from the current storage. A zero rate gives linear growth from the monthly additions alone, while a rate above zero compounds on the running total each month.
Which inputs are accepted?
Enter current storage from 0 to 1000000000 GB, monthly new data from 0 to 1000000000 GB, a monthly growth rate from 0 to 100 percent, and whole-number months from 1 to 600. Decimal values are accepted for storage and rate. Missing required values, non-numeric text, and values outside these ranges show a clear error instead of a result.
